Intel is looking for an experienced Linux Kernel Manager, based in Santa Clara, California, to join our World Class Linux Kernel team. We build value in Intel's line of CPU products, from Atom to Core to Xeon by developing new enabling support in a timely manner and working closely with the Linux Community to deliver that support into the upstream Linux Kernel. The person will Manage a team of Linux Kernel Software engineers who are responsible for delivering results over many areas of the software lifecycle: design, developing, debugging, validating, and optimization, customer engagement. This might include systems software, drivers, high performance computing. May also be required to provide architectural and technical guidance, and ensure that sound engineering practices are followed. Provides direction and goals to the group and interacts with stakeholders both internal and external.
