Job Description: Responsible for developing multiple aspects of graphics software, display driver development and simulation environment development. Works with various partners to enhance and improve graphics performance on upcoming processor graphics devices by analyzing performance issues in software drivers and applications, implementing software performance improvements, and recommending future hardware & software improvements. Also responsible for providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming graphics features in yet-to-be-released OSes to ensure our hardware and software will function and perform as expected on next generation platforms as well as designing/developing/implementing graphics system-level software for future platforms.


Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.

Candidate should have 6+ months of work or educational experience with the following:
  • Working knowledge of C, familiarity with C++
  • Experience working with Linux device drivers, especially graphics, video, and display
  • Understanding and prior experience with OpenGL, EGL, and/or GLES

Preferred skills and experience:
  • Embedded Linux development, debug & test
  • Working with Open Source Software community, including success with getting code accepted in upstream open source projects.
