I get the same error here:

Checking https://download.01.org/gfx/ubuntu/13.10/main/pool/main/i/intel-vaapi-dr... it looks like the version number has been incremented from 1.2.1-1 to 1.2.2-1 How can we work around this? Do we need a new installer?
Thanks
Brad
Same issue here apparently the programmers haven't read up on the comments yet. Judging by the non responsiveness. Well We'll have to wait and see if this silly error gets fixed.
Hi there - the reason we're being unresponsive is that as far as we can tell it's
an aggressive CDN cache that ignores our headers, so the new files don't all get
through at the same time... and we haven't been able to work around it (we've tried).
Sad faces all round, really.
It _should_ sort itself out soon. (For what it's worth, it's currently stopping some of
us from getting/testing the updates too - I realise that doesn't help you but we really
are all in the same boat).
I have same issue but i'm using linuxmint. i had no problem so far with previous installers. but this time i get the "gzip:/blahblah" error.
I confirm this issue... but
can't we just have the .deb - files as zip to unzip and dpkg it?
+1
Hey gang,
We are proud to announce the release of the next iteration, version 1.0.4, of the Graphics Installer for Linux*. Read the download page for more information on how to download and use it on Ubuntu* 13.10 or Fedora* 20.
Cheers!
