    The current Intel graphics stack release specifies kernel 3.16.x (and some other package versions).
    Ubuntu 14.10 already ships with 3.16.x, so there's no driver update to give you. As such, the decision
    was to push out one final update for the 14.04 (LTS) users, since we could give them a new release
    but we didn't have much to add to 14.10.

    I understand, but I am just a little conformed, It's my first time using ubuntu and I take the new version, só It's works fine and pretty but if I would like to use graphics It's get bugs and some programs do not work very well.

    Interesting. What make and model of laptop?
    The lspci -vvnn output may also be of interest to us here.

    Since you're seeing this with a vanilla 14.10 install, it may also be worth
    filing a report with Ubuntu (if you haven't already)

    but I dont have graphics driver, so can I compiler 1.7 to run on 14.10.? I think it happen becouse, "libgl is missing". my pc: 'desktop cce'.

    Even if you could get the 1.7 installer to run on 14.10 (and it wouldn't be hard) all that would happen is it would install nothing on your system, because we don't have any packages for 14.10 in the repository the installer uses.

    If libGL is missing, you probably need to install libgl1-mesa-glx on your system (it's a standard ubuntu package available from their main repos)
