INTEL DEMOS
DEMO TITLE | DESCRIPTION |
---|---|
Clear Linux* | Clear Linux OS is an industry blueprint of a modular open source OS optimized for performance and security, from the Cloud to the Edge, designed for customization, and deployability. The demos are around performance, stateless, telemetry, mixer, and swupd. |
Kata* Containers | Kata Containers is the Intel backed industry standard solution for running container workloads in a VM secured by Intel VT. The attendee will be presented with a set of demos covering various Kata Container use cases addressing different needs of the open source community. |
ACRN* | This demo illustrates the versatility and flexibility offered by ACRN for IoT development. Since its public launch in March 2018, Project ACRN has made a lot of progress getting new features that are critical to IoT/Embedded segments such as automotive and industrial. The highlights of this demo are graphics sharing (AcrnGT) and real-time workloads. |
Sound Open Firmware* | Intel platforms are a front runner of a new paradigm for audio processing development. Always-on and audio sensing applications require low power. Traditionally, DSP systems have been proprietary and suffered from vendor lock-in which causes difficulty with Codec Vendors and equipment manufacturers. The Sound Open Firmware (SOF) project alleviates these issues. This demo shows a practical audio processing pipeline using SOF to apply an effect to otherwise clean audio to create a sensation of something special. |
FPGA Adaptive Debug on Clear Linux for Intel Stratix 10 SoC | Intel is the only vendor providing full end-to-end tools for integration of hardware, software, toolchain and debug for FPGAs with embedded processors. This will be the first public demonstration of Intel Clear Linux running on any FPGA family. It will also be the first public demonstration of FPGA adaptive debug on Intel Stratix 10 SoC, our first SoC fabricated in-house. Demonstrating the entire tool chain with Intel Premier Support will position Intel as a one-stop-shop for all aspects of developing Linux solutions on FPGA, and the natural first choice for custom SoC developers. |
