I am looking for a solution to enable 3D Frame Packing output even with non 3D applications. There must be something like a switch or similar when setting the mode with xrandr for example but I can't find it.
I need this mode so that I can set up a display mode with HDMI 1.4 1080p24 FP and my 3D Projector can recognize it as a correct 3D format. Just setting the resolution to 1920x2205@24 didn't work because the InfoFrames are missing.
I am working with an Intel Sandybridge GPU using the intel xorg driver.
Can anyone give me a hint or a solution how I can define a mode with xrandr or similar that produces correct 1080p24 FramePacking output?
