Hi cssglgs,
Graphics Installer support is limited to the latest releases of Ubuntu and Fedora, and there are no plans to expand support beyond those distributions.
That being said, here is a high-level overview of how one would upgrade their graphics stack on a distribution of Linux* not supported by the Graphics Installer.
The goal is to mimic the behavior of the Graphics Installer by upgrading your graphics stack to at least the latest quarterly graphics stack release, which would involve packaging and building many (or all) of those quarterly release packages for Fedora 4, including the Linux* kernel, and installing them on your system. These are non-trivial, time-intensive tasks, but certainly not impossible.
Cheers
