  • I am getting monitor not detected under Centos7 with DELL XPS13 9350 with Intel HD chip ("Monitor:unknown", no backlight controller etc.)

Currently avaiable driver is X11-drv-intel 2.99.917-8.20150615 . I would love to install latest "intel graphics installer" from 01.org but there is no direct support for Centos and even source code is not downloadable.

Is there a way of getting "intel graphics installer" to work with Centos7 ?

    Cheers!

  • Hi Albert.  We have been looking at CentOS 7 and the Installer project but are currently still collecting information.  Most server users that we know of are using the graphics driver build guide on 01.org and are updating the graphics stack themselves for CentOS 7.x.     I'll update this thread once we have more information.
