I am using a Thinkpad T500 with Intel GM45 express chipset. I have Ubuntu 15.10. I downloaded the intel Graphics Installer for Linux and attempted to do the upgrade. However the installer fails and I get the following error:
W:Failed to fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/wily/main/source/Sources 404 Not Found [IP: 184.108.40.206 80]
, W:Failed to fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/wily/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found [IP: 220.127.116.11 80]
, W:Failed to fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/wily/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found [IP: 18.104.22.168 80]
, E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
How do I fix these problems?
Upon further inspection it seems there is no file folder for anything beyond Ubuntu 14.10 on that website that gave a 404 error that I explained in the last comment. Is there a way around this?
These aren't repositories that are added (or used) by the 01.org installer - you should be
able to remove them without breaking anything - either by editing the .list files under
/etc/apt (sources.list and/or sources.list.d/) or via your "software sources" configuration
(I forget its exact name in current ubuntu).
