  • Hello!

    I have installed the Installer on Ubuntu 15.04 but I am having a problem when it is installing packages this is the output that I get:

    W:Failed to fetch cdrom://Ubuntu 15.04 _Vivid Vervet_ - Release amd64 (20150422)/dists/trusty/main/binary-amd64/Packages  Please use apt-cdrom to make this CD-ROM recognized by APT. apt-get update cannot be used to add new CD-ROMs

    , E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

    Does anyone know what  the root of my problem might be here?

    Thanks in advance :-)

  • I have actually disabled some stuff in the Software & Updates section in Settings but now I am getting this:

    Error running transaction: GDBus.Error:org.debian.apt.TransactionFailed: error-dep-resolution-failed: The following packages have unmet dependencies:

    libgles1-mesa: Depends: libglapi-mesa (= 10.6.0-~0intel1) but 11.0.2+git20151008+11.0.b1230e3e-0ubuntu0ricotz~vivid is to be installed
    libgles2-mesa: Depends: libglapi-mesa (= 10.6.0-~0intel1) but 11.0.2+git20151008+11.0.b1230e3e-0ubuntu0ricotz~vivid is to be installed
    libosmesa6: Depends: libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1) but 1:5.1~rc1-0ubuntu1.1 is to be installed

  • Looks like you've got some mesa packages from another PPA or similar installed that are clashing. You might be able to work around this by telling apt to install libgles1-mesa, libgles2-mesa and libosmesa6 explicitly - they should all really ocme from the same repo (in this case the 01.org repo). Or you an disable the PPA or repo that the ubuntu0ricotz~vivid packages are coming from first, that might help too.
