    Hi Aii,
i got a reply form this forum  that Intel Media SDK is not supported for NUC -Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3700. So, I have taken libva 1.6, Kernel 4.2, vaaps-driver  from

I tried to  developed a decoder for only one I-frame using vaapi API based on this link.

But my output is not coming proper. I am seeing blocky patches in output yuv.

But my setup with kernel 4.2 and old Valib and Vappi is working fine.I am getting correct decoded I-frame.

Even if  this I frame decode worked fine, how can i build a full decoder using only Vaapi Api. How  one will handel B-frame and P-frame in decoding,

If you all have any parser code to extract header info at slice level then plz share.
