Dual Monitor with Lenovo Ultra Dock only mirror

  • Fedora 20 + Thinkpad 440s + ThinkPad Ultradock + 2 monitors.

    My dual monitors only shows up as a single monitor in xrandr.  When connected the monitors show the same mirrored display.  I've tried most available connection arrangements on the docking station (VGA, DVI and HDMI).  The results in xrandr are always the same,  I have also installed the latest intel graphics packages and ran the installer.

  • Since updating to kernel 3.17.2-200.fc20.x86_64 xorg no longer starts while laptop is connected to the docking station.
