Hi, I'm trying to make a NUC work for a digital signage system at our small museum. The problem is that if power is lost overnight it causes the system to reboot while the disply is powered off. This means no EDID information is available from the display while the system boots. The result of this is that even though the system boots correctly and starts X and the digital signage begins to play on X display 0 (which I can verify remotely with VNC) when the TV is powered on the followign day there is no output from the NUC on it's mini-HDMI port.
I'm wondering if there is a way to force the graphics driver to initialize the graphics hardware and begin outputting even if no EDID data is received?
