Hi John,
I'm sorry, but I'm afraid QM77 isn't supported by our open source stack.
I can confirm that if you provide the pci id by pasting output of
lspci -nn | grep VGA
Thanks,
Rodrigo.

Hi John,
To be honest, I don't know.
But I can find that info for you if you provide output of
lspci -nn | grep VGA
Thanks,
Rodrigo.
Rodrigo,
Here are the results from "lspci -nn | grep VGA":
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller [8086:0166] (rev 09).
I spoke with Panasonic yesterday and they informed me that a request was made by them to Intel to provide support in developing a Linux driver. I'm not sure that's going to happen anytime soon.
Thanks again,
John
This PCI ID is an Ivybridge mobile machine, more specifically:
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4000
This is fully supported by our Open Source stack and should work out of box on your Fedora 19.
Kernel driver that should be running there is i915 (check with lsmod)
Xorg driver that you must use is "intel" provided by xf86-video-intel. On fedora, the package you must have is xorg-x11-drv-intel.
Let me know what kind of issues you faced and how can I help you.
Cheers,
Rodrigo.
Rodigo,
Thaks for the information and I've verified the following:
When running the "startx" command, I getting the following error:
(EE) Fatal server error:(EE) no screens found(EE). Please check the log file at "var/log/Xorg.0.log"
Results from the "Xorg.0.log":
No devices detected.
(EE) no screens found(EE)
I modified the xorg.conf file and added "fbdev", no issues with starting up the graphics.
Thanks again,
John
Please post or paste your Xorg.0.log that failed with intel in xorg.conf and also your xorg.conf please.
Cheers,
Rodrigo.
Rodrigo,
I've captured the files, but unable to see the "word verification" and unable to add at this time. I can see if I can upload the contents of these files when I get home this evening. If you send me an email, I'd be happy to email them to you for review. My email is je.johnson@lmco.com.
Thanks,
John
I've loaded Fedora Core 19 64bit on the Panasonic TouchPad FZ-G1. I'm running into issues tracking down a linux driver for the Intel QM77 video controller. I've ran the "intel-linux-graphics-installer" latest version 1.0.2-10, but it did not have the driver support for this controller.
I did get "fbdev" driver to work and I've got "X" running, but would like to get Intel driver support.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John
