I have tried going through some dependency issues that I THOUGHT I had mannaged to resolve, but when I ran the app it returned 'Unsupported OS' (or something similar

I'd appreciate and pointers or hinsts ad to where I can get more info that may lead me to a solution.

I appreciate your time and I'm willing to provide any other info you may find relevent.

Only supported distros are Ubuntu and Fedora, however, if you take the source packages distributed for Ubuntu and rebuild on Debian, those should work but have not been validated.
the installer doesn't work...
I myself installed all necessary packages out of repositories, hence I'm not really upto date... (still on mesa 9eg.) which is annoying for games and such. (even on testing)
Therefore the question, why do you only support Ubuntu and Fedora? do you really think that with recent changes in Ubuntu, that it's still the preferred OS? I haven't been useing Ubuntu ever since they started Unity, and my friends aren't any different - most of them working in IT.
HOW LONG UNTIL WE CAN EXPECT A WORKING DEBIAN INSTALLER??
ever since steam runs on debian I really could use new newest graphics driver (eg right now I cannot play a game, problem lies with mesa, but is fixed in v 10...
