Since you support with these drivers the Intel® HD Graphics 4000 for desktop computer, i'm wondering now, do you support HD Graphics P4000 for XEN servers? They are the same expect one use for desktop processor and the other for server processor. I really need to be sure if I install this driver, would I have the support for this controller or not?

The 01.org driver is the same driver as in the mainline kernel: It's just a more recent
version than what's in the distribution kernel, backported to that kernel.

So if your hardware is currently driven by the i915 driver, you'll be getting a more
recent version of the same one, and it should be supported just fine.

lspci -k -v; You should see an entry something like:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel …

    Kernel driver in use: i915

If your hardware isn't driven by i915.ko, installing the new driver won't make a difference.
Also, the driver is installed alongside the old one, so removing the driver package (it will
have "i915" and "dkms" in its name) will let you revert to the vanilla version shipped by
    your distribution.

I hope that answers your question(s).

let you revert to the old one.
