Hi - The updated drivers provided by the installer are not proprietary drivers:
Although we don't currently have the resources to QA releases for any more distributions you can get the updated drivers by updating your kernel and mesa packages (the kernel for an updated i915 module, mesa for updated GL support).

Seriously?
Am looking to install Intel Graphics driver via command line on the below *nix platforms
RHEL 6.5 (32 and 64 bit)
Ubuntu 14.04 (32 and 64 bit)
OpenSuse 13 (32 and 64 bit)
I checked the site https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads, I dont see any entries for RHEL and Open suse, any pointers on how to go about the same
