The 16.10 release is currently being tested. I should note that the 16.10 graphics stack is already mostly up to date, so really only cairo (2D grpahics userspace library) and VAAPI drivers (hardware assisted video playback acceleration) will be added to 16.10 this time around.

As noted in this thread, Ubuntu 16.10 has a fairly fresh version of Intel graphics driver versions except for Cairo 2D and Vaapi. Are you seeing issues with Ubuntu 16.10 on your Intel platform?
There is currently no builds for Ubuntu 16.10
Is there going to be releases for #.10 versions or only the LTS versions?
