Hi Ayman, do you have any update about this issue? because I have 100% same issue with your mention. please let me know ur latest status. Thanks!!!
unfortunately, I have applied the above steps, but still unable to fix the problem , recently, I followed the below link, which allow me to boot without nomodeset=0, however I still unable to change the resoultion of my screen which mean the problem is still exist, and I don't know how to fix it, I hope that some one could update us.

It seems that you are still falling back to VESA anyway, could you please share your new Xorg.0.log?
Thanks,
Rodrigo
Kindly check below my Xorg.0.log,
Here is the content of by /etc/default/grup
make sure you run:
$ sudo update-grub
everytime you edit grub config files at /etc.
even after update-grup, I get the same result, splash i915.modeset=0
Sorry, I make update and when restart the NUC, it again give me the black screen, so now I make modeset = 0, to boot with the screen.
any way from the above /var/log/Xorg.0.log, it seams that the vesa driver not loading, why?
Thanks
You don't want the modeset=0 nor VESA.This means no acceleration at all, you probably want to debug why it is blankscreen with kernel modeset...
Please provide the logs without the modeset option so we are able to help you...
does anyone can help to reslove this problem?
