    Hi,

     

    is there a rough ETA for the graphics stack installer?

    I read somewhere else that it would be in Q4 this year.

    Would be happy to get some further information.

    I read the same thing and I'm also looking for an anwser to this. Graphics seem a bit choppy on 14.10 with the default drivers.

    Same here, eagerly awaiting the 1.0.7 installer.

    Is there any indication when it will be released?

    The new installer should be out soon (in the next week or two would be my guess, but it really depends on the QA team's feedback).

    This release (v1.07, the 2014-Q3 release) will target Ubuntu 14.04 and will provide the i915 driver from 3.16.x
    (Ubuntu 14.04 ships with kernel 3.13.x)

    Ubuntu 14.10 ships with 3.16.x by default.

    The next release of the installer is scheduled for 2014-Q4 (so late December/early January)
    and will target Ubuntu 14.10
