Intel Graphics upgrade tool

  • Hi

    I have Dell Latitude E6230 running Ubuntu 16.04, no info is displayed in the Display Setting

    We I run the Linux Graphics Update Tool 2.0.2, the Performance diagnostic reports

      • checking for i915 module in /sys/module
      • i915 module found
    Checking if Intel graphics card available... OK
    Retrieving information from 01.org...
      • fetching https://download.01.org/gfx/ilg-config.cfg

    Checking kernel version... OK

    However it fails during the Upgrading system phase

    Ensuring consistent system... OK
    Listing packages... OK
    Setting up repositories... OK
    Installing packages...
        Updating package cache... Failed

    With this error

They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

     

    Any suggestions !!

  • You have two warnings (marked W) and one error (marked E). One of the warnings and the error refer to PPAs which are not related to the 01.org update tool. The warning that's related to the 01.org repository is telling you you haven't installed the public key used to verify 01.org signatures - instructions for that are on the page which tells you how to download and use the update tool.

    Warnings shouldn't stop anything from working, but the error will - you will need to correct the configuration of that PPA (or remove it entirely) before you can proceed.
