Packet Processing

There is ever-increasing pressure on networks to perform and manage greater workloads with the uptick in cloud, mobility, and now the Internet of Things. The Packet Processing project contains an important collection of tools to accelerate development of network transformation software, as outlined by Software Defined Networking (SDN) and a complementary initiative, Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).

Managing growing mail list activity.

BY John DiGiglio ON May 02, 2014

It has been exciting to see a 60%+ growth in the number of subscribers to the project’s mailing list between January and April of this year.

To manage the incoming mail more efficiently, we would like to introduce two Subject Line designations:

Please add [Discussion] to the Subject Line when you have a question about functional capabilities, stack architecture, performance, setup and project direction.

Please add [Patch] when you are submitting a patch and for any subsequent reviews of a submitted patch.

Of course, please go directly to the Github repo for any defect reports.

Thank you,

John DiGiglio and Chris Buerger
